Lloyd's Studio Photography is the premier portrait studio in Boca Raton, Florida — a full-service photography, video production, podcast studio, and design shop in the heart of downtown.
We're tucked into The Boca Grand Building, surrounded by narrow alleys and secret courtyards that quietly moonlight as our favorite outdoor sets. Beaches are a short drive east, and there's an old train station nearby that photographs like it was built for it — because, honestly, it kind of was.

This is a real, physical studio — not a laptop with AI backgrounds. 1,600+ square feet in downtown Boca, with eight to nine actual rooms plus outdoor architectural areas right outside our door. Every backdrop is a real place you can walk through and stand in before your session: a real boardroom, a real library / living room, real anterooms, real hallways, and real outdoor stone walls. No green screen, no digital fakery, no “we’ll composite it later.” You show up, pick a room, and shoot in it.
Boardrooms, anterooms, a full library / living room, hallways, and dedicated shooting rooms — each fully furnished and lit, so clients can preview the exact physical space they'll be photographed in before the session.

A second-generation photographer, serving Boca and south Florida for over 20 years.
Michael is a second-generation photographer who founded Lloyd's Studio in Boca Raton in 1986. He's one of a select few to earn the designation of Certified Professional Photographer, a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, and an alumnus of the Winona School of Photography.
He studied under Hanson Fong, Dennis Reggie, Stephen Rudd, Anne Geddes, Monte Zucker, Angela Carson, and Lisa Murphey — a roster that reads like a portrait photography hall of fame. Today his focus is commercial, corporate, and editorial work.
Off the clock, he runs the Veteran's Film Project — a personal, non-commissioned effort to record the stories of U.S. veterans in their own words and images, before they're lost. Being the grandson, son, and nephew of veterans himself, it's the work he's proudest of.
Michael works out of the 1,600 sq ft Boca studio alongside Studio Manager, second photographer and stylist Elizabeth. He's a member of the Professional Photographers of America Guild and Florida Professional Photographers Guild, and a Google Trusted Photographer.

For decades, our downtown location has been synonymous with exceptional portraiture — the Premier Studio in Downtown Boca Raton. Our work has appeared in national digital and print advertising, brochures, annual reports, television, catalogs, and across the web.
The space includes a full shooting bay, a professional makeup room, a private dressing room, and a deep collection of backgrounds and props. Large enough for multi-room sets — small enough to stay intimate for a single portrait or fashion sitting.
We shoot on high-end digital equipment: medium-format digital cameras and Canon Pro DSLRs. Retouching and digital assembly is done in-house — never outsourced. Location sessions are always an option.

Consultation
A complimentary, in-depth chat about your vision — where the art will live in your home, what feels formal, what feels relaxed, and which rooms deserve which stories.

Home Visit
We stop by the spaces where the work will hang — reading light, color palettes, and scale — so we can plan clothing and grouping decisions before a shutter clicks.
- 03
The Session
Studio or location. A professional makeup artist is available. Every session is built to create art, not just a file.
- 04
Premier Ordering
About two weeks later, you return to the studio to review images and finalize your portrait plan — statement pieces, groupings, and finishing.
