VHS Video Tape & Old Film Transfer

We turn old VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, Hi8 and MiniDV tape video cassettes into digital file formats such as .mp4 or DVD. Ageing video tapes tend to deteriorate, so transferring them to digital is critical. As with film, we also use modern techniques to stabilize and actually bring 2K resolution to video, which equates to 420p resolution. With modern techniques we can even res-up a video and bring more detail to life.

We transfer old 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm film to digital files — DVD or USB in .mp4 format. Film when ordinarily transferred is blurry and jumpy; we use modern techniques to stabilize and actually bring 2K resolution to what 8mm film equates to, 420p resolution. These reels are also prone to become sticky and smelly, especially after decades sealed in a metal can. We transfer them to modern .mp4 or .BUP DVD format for you to play on a computer or DVD player.
