Powerful Graduation Portraits in the Time of Covid-19

First — congratulations to Brian, Gabe, and the entire #classof2020. Here's how we made sure no senior missed their moment.

2020 was the year every senior almost lost their graduation portrait. Schools closed, ceremonies were cancelled, and the traditional cap-and-gown photo suddenly felt impossible to schedule. We didn't accept that.

How we shot safely during Covid

We moved sessions outdoors, staggered arrivals, worked with masks on until the last frame, and delivered fully-retouched galleries within days. Families stayed in their car until we were ready, and we cleaned every surface between sessions. No senior in our care missed the picture.

Because a graduation portrait is a milestone, not a snapshot

A cap-and-gown portrait belongs on the wall for the next fifty years. It marks the end of one chapter and the start of the next — and the class of 2020 deserved theirs more than any class before. Our portrait sessions are still built around that idea, Covid or no Covid.
